He has also been involved in managing several self-storage facilities across multiple states and was a managing member of a large facility in Northern Virginia. He has served on the Editorial Advisory Board for the ISS Magazine and the board of the North Carolina Self-Storage Association. In addition, he is known for his educational contributions to the industry through seminars, webinars, industry events, trade shows, and writing for industry publications.

Since starting the business in 2008, Jeffrey has completed 34 acquisitions comprising approximately 4mm SQ-FT. MMS is now the largest self-storage company in Quebec, Canada with 23 locations.
